Jičín – town of fairy tales
It is a tradition that every year fairy-tale figures in costumes go through Valdice gate to the centre of the town. Near to Jicin there is a famous rock town Prachov – Prachovske skaly (Prachov´s rocks) is a must-see spot! One of the characteristic symbols of the Czech Paradise is a ruin of Trosky castle from the 17th century (Trosky means Ruins). There are much more to visit in Cesky Raj- several castles, for example the Baroque castle Humprecht or a Gothic castle Kost, as well as colourful valleys such as Plakanek, and sandstone rocks.
